Portugal is fast becoming a dream destination for elegant elopements. Cute cobbled streets of Lisbon, captivating coastlines, fairytale Sintra castles perched atop dramatic mountain tops and 300 days of sunshine; it soon becomes very clear why! Portugal's topping the charts when it comes to a dream elopement destination!
When Noor and Ahmeds original plans for their wedding fell through, they naturally decided Lisbon would be the perfect spot to capture their love story. Nothing was going to stop them from having their dream day, even if it meant swapping a lavish wedding for an intimate affair!
We took these two on an epic 5 hour adventure. Starting at Convento do Carmo in Lisbon, this dramatic backdrop was the perfect location to match the mood of this modern couple. Grand stone walls, historical ruins and a view of the city. A great start to the story.
From there we made our way to the Maat, Belem. An outstanding piece of architecture that allowed us to play with lines and bring an element of art to our images. With Lisbon's iconic Ponte 25 de Abril as our backdrop we couldn't have asked for a better spot.
Just before the sun was starting to set, we wandered through the colourful streets of Cascais. When we caught a glimpse of the setting sun through the trees, it was time to make our way along the curvaceous coast to our last stop on the breathtaking beach of Guincho.
A fairytale from start to finish. A day that determines a lifetime of love and adventure & life as Mr & Mrs.
