We have been based in this stunning country for the past 5 years working as wedding photographers so we've seen first-hand how special a wedding day can be here. 1. The Weather
If you are looking for a wedding in the sunshine, Portugal is a pretty safe bet. It gets over 3,000 sunshine hours per year making it the sunniest part of Europe with the best weather ranging from May all the way through to October. If you dream of an outdoor ceremony and reception on your wedding day, this may be just the country for it!
2. Diverse Landscape
We love the range of landscapes and locations Portugal has to offer. From the Portuguese sandy beaches in the Algarve, the rolling hills in the Alentejo to the tiled streets of the Portuguese cities. In comparison to other countries around the world, it is relatively easy to get married in Portugal. There is often not too much paperwork or documents involved for most nationalities which makes getting married here all the more enjoyable.
